For one, most players of the 2008 USA Basketball Team are in their prime. The team is younger, faster, and definitely more focused. After the successive movie premiere of Batman Begins in 2005 comes the most awaited sequel to the movie – The Dark Knight.

The Dark Knight Characters

• Christian Bale as Batman a.k.a the Dark Knight, a billionaire by morning and a caped crusader by night who dedicates his life protecting Gotham City from the criminal underworld.

• Gary Oldman as James Gordon, the incorrupt lieutenant of Gotham city who later turned commissioner. He has the same ideals as that of the Dark Knight;

• Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent or the White Knight, a once noble district attorney who later turned into a disfigured vigilante called the Two Face.

• Maggie Gyllenhaal as Rachel Dowes, Gotham assistant D.A who got killed by the sinister called The Joker.

• The late Heath Ledger as the psychopathic, mass murdering, schizophrenic arch enemy of the Dark Knight – the Joker.

The Dark Knight Plot Summary

The Dark Knight begins with a different view of Gotham City seen in Batman Begins. The city is shaken by the rise of a new criminal psychopath named the Joker. Aided by mobs terrorizing Gotham city, the Joker fights Batman who then teams up with the incorrupt police officer James Gordon and Gotham’s Defense Attorney Harvey Dent to put the order back to Gotham City. However, the so-called White Knight was corrupted by the Joker and later became the disfigured vigilante called the Two Face.

How will Batman save Gotham City from the hands of a deadly psychopath and a tainted “hope of the city”? 

Expect to have a good time watching this Dark Knight movie as he faces his arch enemy of all time – The Joker.
