And now, 7^th American Idol’s rock star David Cook is releasing his new album on November 18, 2008. Hundreds of Cook fans got a sneak peek at his complete album on Thursday, and they just couldn’t stop talking about it.

David Cook worked together on the new album with Grammy-winning producer Rob Cavallo, (Green Day and Kid Rock). “Light On” was co-written by rocker Chris Cornell, Audioslave lead singer, Soundgarden, and much-admired producer-songwriter Brian Howes. The single is presently available at all digital music providers.

In behalf of David Cook’s victory, some say that he hasn’t been rocking all that much. Rock fans were disappointed when they found out that his new album is mostly composed of love songs and not rock. Some even thought that he would not choose to sing such nonsense of his own free will.

For die-hard fans of the American Idol champ, on the other hand, they promise to support their idol no matter which path he takes on his music career. It was a tough competition! Barack Obama swept California as he won the battle for president as the nation’s first black president in an electoral landslide that could possibly ended the racial discrimination between the black and white Americans.

“Change has come”, said Obama as the supporters applauded for the newly elected president. This is a historic election that draws between the line of the past and the future

John McCain called to concede defeat – and the end of his own 10-year quest for the White House.

Barack Obama and Joseph Biden of Delaware, his running mate, will take their oaths on January 20, 2009.

Being the 44th president, Obama will move into the Oval Office as leader of a country that is almost certainly in depression and struggling two long wars, in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Obama has said his first order of presidential business will be to tackle the economy. He has also pledged to withdraw most U.S. combat troops from Iraq within 16 months.

While victory is in his hands, Obama is now facing more challenges ahead. Now, are we ready for the changes?

The 2008 U.S. Men’s Olympic Team in basketball is still undefeated as it advances to the quarterfinals.

Labeled as the Redeem Team, USA basketball team wants to prove that they’re faster, stronger, and better than anybody else. “They wanted to show everyone they are superior, and they did,” Spanish center Pau Gasol stated.

But, if the 2008 Team USA is indeed superior, as what they are showing on the 2008 Beijing Olympics, are they greater even than U.S.’s Dream Team on 1992? Than the original squad which was composed of Charles Barkley, Larry Bird, Clyde Drexler, Patrick Ewing, Earvin Johnson, Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Christian Laettner, Karl Malone, John Stockton, Chris Mullin, and David Robinson?

Could Carmelo Anthony, Carlos Boozer, Chris Bosh, Kobe Bryant, Dwight Howard, LeBron James, Jason Kidd, Chris Paul, Tayshaun Prince, Michael Redd, Dwayne Wade, and Deron Williams outshine the original basketball champs?

For one, most players of the 2008 USA Basketball Team are in their prime. The team is younger, faster, and definitely more focused. But if anything is to balance out the comparison between then and now’s USA Basketball Team, it would have to be Michael Jordan, who was only 29 then and in the middle of 6 NBA championship titles and 5 NBA MVP awards.

Undoubtedly, MJ is the greatest basketball player in history, and even sports analysts agree that Kobe Bryant, Dwayne Wade, and LeBron James couldn’t match the basketball legend.

And it was another win for the Boston Celtics on Game 4 of this season’s NBA Finals!

Rallying from a 24-point lead during the first half of the game, the Celtics still managed to win over the Los Angeles Lakers with 97-91 as the final scores, taking the 3-1 lead in this excitement-filled series and leaving them with just one more win to be declared as this season’s NBA Champ!

To cut down the opponent’s lead, the Celtics’ big three, namely Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, and Ray Allen doubled their effort and exuberance during the 3rd quarter of the game, scoring 20 points, 16 points, and 19 points, respectively. Garnett also had 11 rebounds throughout the game.

It was really an epic comeback, especially since no team in the history of NBA had ever triumphed over more than a 15-point deficit after the 1st quarter of the game. The Celtics has thus made a legacy that will forever be remembered during the Celtics-Lakers rivalry.

So, is it now over for the LA Lakers? For the record, no team has ever recovered from and won in a 3-1 deficit in the history of NBA finals.

Inspired to get the game over with and become this season’s NBA Champion, Pierce said, “It can always happen. We aren’t counting on that statistic. We want to take care of this on Father’s Day.”

So the question now is, as we observe Father’s Day on Sunday, will the Celtics fans be celebrating 2 special occasions?

May 18, 2008 – Scoring 41 points on the seat-rocking Playoffs Game 7 on Sunday, Paul Pierce of the Boston Celtics dominated the game that threw off the chance of the Cleveland Cavaliers to battle against the Detroit Pistons on the Eastern Conference Finals.

Although Cavalier’s LeBron James also showed off a competitive 45 points in the game, it wasn’t enough to counter the extraordinary scoring performance of Pierce.

With two of the best players in the NBA trying to bring their teams to the finals, the game ended with a 5-point lead advantage of the Celtics, closing the game at 97-92. It is this close, narrow fight that will bring Celtics side by side with the Pistons on the finals.

Eastern Conference Finals Game 1 is scheduled on Tuesday, May 20, 8:30 p.m. ET at Boston.

Indiana Jones is an archeologist who would never say ‘no’ to an exciting adventure. This legendary character is seen in movies such as Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

After so many years, Steven Spielberg now brings you the fourth installment of the Indiana Jones movie which will surely be packed with superb action scenes and scenery. Harrison Ford, will star in this film as the lead character (like the previous films) together with Cate Blanchett as Irina Spalko, his rival in this film. In this sequel, Indiana Jones is united with his former love interest Marion Ravenwood, his trusty sidekick Mutt (played by Shia LaBeouf) and another professor of archeology, Mac.

This installment movie takes us back in the year 1957 when Indiana Jones is in rival with the Soviet Union led by Spalko in the quest for the crystal skull.

This Indiana Jones film promises action-packed cuts which will surely bring awe to the viewers. There are no computer-generated stunts in the movie since most of the stunt scenes were done by the actors themselves.

Expect to have a good time watching this Indiana Jones sequel with the superb casts and exhilarating action scenes!

Now, Megan Fox topped list beating a handful of other sexy and hot celebrities in Hollywood including Jessica Alba (now only on 3rd place), Angelina Jolie (number 12), Kim Kardashian (number 17), Rihanna (number 14), and the hottest heiress Paris Hilton (now in number 77).
