Blink 182 is a pop-punk and punk-rock band who eventually reigned the radio waves not just in the United States, but in other countries in the world, as well. It is popular for its angst tunes, honest lyrics, and appealing sounds perfect for those who love the punk scene.

The initial band of Blink 182 consists of Tom DeLonge, Scott Raynor and Mark Hoppus. Their band was formed in Poway, California in 1992 by the lead vocalist, Tom. Eventually, in 1998, Blink 182’s drummer Scott Raynor left the band. He was in the end replaced by Travis Barker. On the other hand, Tom DeLonge also left Blink 182 in 2005. He was later included in the rock band, Angels and Airwaves.

Influenced by the bands NOFX, Unwritten Law, The Descendents, and Screeching Weasel, Blink 182 was able to capture the hearts and ears of millions of fans, selling more than 35 million records all over the globe. Their songs scream punk and teenage angst all over but anyone can relate to their wonderfully written lyrics and heartfelt tunes.

Their songs “Carousel”, “strings”, and CDs “Enema of the State”, “Take Off Your Pants and Jacket”, and self-titled album “Blink-182” surely fired up the teen angsts all over the world. Their songs ruled the airwaves for some time and some of their CDs were marked as platinum.

Fall Out Boy is simply the hottest pop-punk/emo-rock band in America today!

Consisting of Patrick Stump on vocals and guitar, Pete Wentz on vocals and bass guitar, Joe Trohman on vocals and guitar, and Andy Hurley on drums and percussions, Fall Out Boy band introduces emo to both teenagers and adults alike.

Fall Out Boy is formed by Joe and Pete in the year 2001 when the ‘emo’ scene is still sizzling hot. With the influence of Green Day, The Smiths, and Descendents, Joe and Pete formed the band and released a demo in 2002. They got their name from a concert when the band asked the audience for suggestions for their name. A creative audience member blurted out “Fallout boy” from the hit series ‘the Simpsons’. From then on, the emo rock band was better known for their cool name ‘Fall Out Boy’.

The famous emo band already won a handful of awards for their sheer talent and skills. Their album ‘From Under the Cork Tree’ garnered triple platinum from its over 2.5 million of sales. They made headlines when they topped the Billboard 200 for their well made ‘Infinity on High’ which indeed received a lot of praises. “This Ain’t a Scene, It’s an Arms Race” topped the Pop 100 and became Billboard Hot 100’s number 2.

They definitely got talent and skills which will surely keep them in the top for a while. They are not just a mere bunch of black eyeliner fans; they are rock stars!
